Model 1560 is a high gain helix antenna suitable for L-band satellite communications by fixed or transportable stations.
It has applications for the defence forces, emergency services, mining and exploration companies, rural communities and homestead, parks and wildlife outposts, etc.
The antenna is a broad bandwidth, directional, circularly polarized model with the radiator element enclosed in a robust, impact resistant radome which is UV protected.

The radome is filled with closed cell foam that prevents moisture penetration and protects the radiator from any corrosive atmosphere and ensure constant electrical characteristics.

Mounting: to a pipe ø25-55 mm with the supplied clamps, or wall or roof mounting is optional.
Alignment: azimuth 360°, elevation 0-90° .
